How they install
Windows: the installer downloads the IDE, the compiler and the examples from truepascal.com as it installs; the complete installer carries them inside, so only the sign-in needs the network. Both install into your own profile (no administrator rights) and make Start Menu and desktop shortcuts and an entry in Windows' Apps list. The IDE opens its window in Microsoft Edge, which Windows includes, or in Google Chrome.
FreeBSD and Linux: the script puts tpack, TruePascal's package tool, in ~/truepascal, and tpack downloads the IDE, the compiler and the examples into it - no root needed. Start the IDE with ~/truepascal/truepascal; it opens its window in Chromium, Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
On every system the IDE updates itself from Help > Check for Updates.
Your licence
Every tier needs a licence. The installers and the script ask you to sign in with your truepascal.com account - or, with no account yet, to start a free 30-day trial with just your email: every feature, made for this computer. Buy inside TruePascal under Help > License... when you are ready.
